Hey all, this is my first chance to get to an Apple Store. This place is pretty cool, but I was hoping to see a new G5 in action. Oh well, I'll just have to wait til I get my own

It was the one in Wauwatosa, WI, just outside of Milwaukee. I got to see the new iPods (very cool), some older powermacs, the beautiful cinema displays, and a really really big employee! I thought I was big (6'4" 245 lbs), but this guy absolutely dwarfed me!

I didn't get much time in the store (about 10 minutes), but it was fun.

Hey Mike! Yeah, that store is nice, but small, especially compared to the new one in Chicago! (See pics in another thread.) Lots of traffic in these stores. Gotta be a good thing.

My son pointed out this weekend that the purpose of the rest of the Mall here in CT is to entertain the family members while you visit the Apple store.

Wasn't surprised that there were no G5s, but was pleasantly surprised by both the size of the camera and quality of the video with iChat.
