The best dog walking scenery ever plus the galloping track is open

Photos of spectacular scenery were fantastic. I  wub.gif BeAnne.

Going out for a trek.

I keep praying that you'll eventually be able to ride. Photos were grand as always, and the snow ... Yuck! It's been very cold here as well. More like early winter weather. So strange.

Yes, thanks for the dog-walking scenery picture; I just finished reading a book set on the Isle of Skye and this was how I pictured it!  But looking on the web I see more rocky and rugged terrain!

The "scary bit" problem is something that I noticed the first day of trail riding when I was a scout; I think it was a bit of black plastic trashbag that blew up right in front of us that spooked first my horse and then two other horses that were behind me when they came up onto it.  Although I've not ridden a lot in the years since then I suppose that it has something to do with the way the horse sees the world.  Do they not have binocular vision like we do?  I don't know; not every horse spooked, I suppose some of them were used to such things or just didn't notice it when it was chattering about in the wind!

Don't know whether you check your blog or the forum first... but this may look familiar

I really want you to get well soonest because I'm not sure what a crabbier is as an object; the brandy I can understand!

Could be a typo - Crabbies Ginger Wine? We'll have to wait for Frances to explain! wink.gif

Maybe not a typo.

Crabbies Green Ginger and Rum is quite a common drink 'round here. VERY potent. My wife has memories of using it as a cure for a cold  whistling.gif
