According to distancesfromto.co.uk we are 527 miles south of Lerwick. While you were wet and cold, we were just a bit too warm at 86F (30C) in brilliant sunshire. Last weekend we had the house heating on.

Never reach those temps here. The warmest we get is 22 C about once every five years!
