I'd like to find a nice case like that one but haven't found one yet.
Any ideas where?

As far mid stuff,wal-mart first aid bandage kit and a thermometer for .... works for me. smile.gif

If all you're carrying is a first aid kit and thermometer, this may be overkill...but surely the thermometer won't break inside one of these.

If you want to see some of these cases in person, a good custom camera shop is probably your best bet. We buy ours from the local camera dealer.

We have several and we've come to the point where we factor in the price of one of these cases for any new electronic equipment we purchase...except for computers so far. Not because they wouldn't be great for protection, but because they get pretty heavy as they get big. We did just get a new Toshiba projector and it fits nicely in a pelican with room for all the various cables. The pluck foam that you can get in many of these cases makes it very easy to customize the exact configuration for maximum  protection/room inside the case.

Yup, they're expensive, but we've never found a better case
