Thank you all!
My slide scanning project is not going well at all, we have a puppy in the family, in addition to Lilly,
and too much fun going on, grandkids at a really fun age.
Housework not going all that well either, but dogs, kids and grandkids are thriving.

Stories galore! Trips on the research ships, trips to Europe, diving in the Med sea, and just tons of stuff. Fun stuff.  Yes, Im sure the grandkids would love it. Maybe I could do one of those quick little 'books', that there is a big instruction in one of the latest MacWorld magazines for Pages.
That would be fun, thanks for the inspiration, I actually went and got one of the boxes of slide out of the attic.

Oooh... One of the worst places to store anything valuable! Even in Cape Cod the temps in the attic can be quite high, not to mention the salty air and extreme fluctuations in the humidity levels.

Did you know there are actually no slides left of the Revolutionary War?! NONE! Better to move the husband up there and use the new space in the closet/bedroom for storing the slides! yes.gif scram.gif

Thank you, yes, some of the slides are mouldy. But I guess I can photoshop them a bit.
Actually he moved the slides to his office which is less humid than the other parts of the house.
Salt air, you should see what that does to the old aluminum window screens. We get the plastic ones now.

Of course, if you're gonna use Photoshop, you don't really need any of the slides! Just download a bunch of pretty pictures and paste in your families faces on any people that might be in the scene. That's a lot cheaper than traveling all over creation, also!
