Hey Frances, what do you think of this?

I'm thinking if someone wanted to get on the cover of a particular publication they should probably take their pony into McDonald's:

She said that Minnie. . .had a taste for the ice cream treats.

An officer issued Christine with a £90 fine for causing 'alarm and distress' to customers and managers have also banned her.

A statement posted by Greater Manchester Police’s Whitefield branch on its Facebook page said they received a call from McDonalds.

It added: 'The staff refused to serve the women due to company policy.

I also find it hard to believe that they had a company policy against serving ponies.   I also think they should feed the pony more healthy treats!

Heard last week that McDonald's has more visits per year than any other store, of any kind, in the world! Not sure if that counted four legged visitors. dntknw.gif

I wonder if they would serve some one riding a camel (regardless of hump numbers)? How about a bunch of sled-dogs pulling a the musher? What if the circus was in town and...

I agree with you, gunug, I don't put much credence in the companies logic when they say "The health safety of our customers and staff is our top priority..." Seems like they would simply shut down the place if that was even a consideration! rolleyes.gif BTW, they weren't quoted as saying 'health AND safety.' They said 'health safety!'

Actually, No.

In Iceland we dined off horsemeat every night.  It was the best meat I have ever eaten.

The difference is that we knew and took responsibility for the fact we were eating horsemeat .
