Kimmer - Isn't that a picture of part of the bridge leading to the city of OZ?

I live in a middle of a hill.  My nearest neighbour is about 1/3 mile away.

Are you sure that fence is strong enough to protect the outside world from that "lump"?! OTOH, as a preacher once told me, "It's good to see you on your knees!" laughhard.gif I just hope you were able to get up from there without dialing 911!! scram.gif

That is what the strong fence is for… If I can't get up I just crawl to the fence and scream at the neighbors to help me up.

If I did that, they'd just call the police and complain about me disturbing the peace! Our fence is made of Cedar boards, if I get too close, I just get splinters! nopity.gif

^Grand photos. Somehow I missed them earlier!

We headed out for a "short" drive today. "Let's take this drive to the falls. It's not far", said Sneakers the passenger. Some 3 hours and 81+ miles later (via a twisty-turny one lane road that climbed a small mountain) we stopped in the big city for dinner! yum.gif Sneakers then took the wheel (not far) and drove us home (2 hours and 65+ miles). Some short drive! We saw some beautiful sites and came home to this sunset:

Larryville has a very nice park right downtown with a train in it; it's the sight of a lot of events.  This event, on Saturday, is I think called Balloon Football!

kimmer: How come Mac can make the trip 15 miles and an hour shorter! I suppose his drive was mostly downhill... I guess that explains it! wacko.gif Good to hear/read that he's getting back to 'normal' life! clap.gif Just about any 'sunset' is beautiful, right?! yes.gif

gunug: First, very nice 'pano'! Did you 'stitch' several images together or crop the original?
Second, until I spotted the soccer ball, I was wondering how they selected one of the 'players' to be the 'ball'! Either way, looks like a great way to keep the hands off the ball! laughhard.gif   I believe that's a Santa Fe 2-6-2 (pilot wheels, drivers, trailing wheels [under the firebox & cab]) freight steam engine, BTW. It's a bit short to be called a "train"! laugh.gif

ABD - That was cropped down from what I took with my Motorola X (10 MP, 4320 x 2432 pixels) out of the car window.  The train is the train because that's what my kids used to call it when they crawled all over it in their younger days; this was before the city got sued by the parents of a kid who fell off it.

gunug, had a hard time viewing your spiffy photo. Now that I have, here's a question ... does the train go anywhere, or just sit there on those tracks?

Think about a triangle. I drove 2 sides, and Sneakers drove the short side. wink.gif

I wish he was getting back to a normal life. sad.gif  We're doing the best we can with what the Lord sends our way. Yes, God always paints a beautiful sunset.

The "tracks", for most display rail equipment, is only marginally longer than the equipment. It's main purpose is to spread the massive weight over the length of the equipment rather than the few inches the wheels actually touch the iron 'roadway'! wink.gif Unlike most "modern" transportation systems, weight (and lots of it) was required to follow two of Newton's laws about objects at rest and those in motion.
