Adobe is now trying to control time!!!

OK, I apologize, I blame the influence of the poor headline creations in our local "news" paper... blush-anim-cl.gif

Got the following message today:
QUOTE
We’re notifying all Adobe Creative Cloud members that we’ve reset the clock on our product trials, including Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign... [emphasis added]
Only reason I got the message is because I've been 'playing' with a Lightroom trial. Ever the optimists, Adobe thinks that means I want to 'trial' CC! laughhard.gif OTOH, the app says I have only 17 days remaining... that's to be expected, I guess, since PSE and Lr remain as two of the few locally installable Adobe apps. I am seriously considering buying the app, even if no intention of signing up for monthly fees for CC. Truth be known (or guessed/opined?!), Adobe knows it can't get even 90% participation in CC. I'm guessing they'd be happy with 40%? dntknw.gif After all, ~$500+ every couple of years is still better than $10/month for even three years! I suppose it's the uncertainty of that "~" and the "+" that keeps them striving for subscriptions. dntknw.gif wink.gif I hear there are more costly subscriptions, also. eek2.gif

After wrapping 21 different birthday gifts today, I took some "quality time" with my email. Looking back over SPAM from 1/1/2014! Found a few false positives and 'retrained' Spamsieve.

Among the many "jewels" in the SPAM box was one from Adobe, dated Feb 26, 2014. Seems they developed their time-shifting capabilities earlier than I had thought! The email I found was very similar to the one above, offering to re-set the trial clock! Apparently, they are still working on a more long-term method? laughhard.gif
