Ethernet Adapter for newest Airs

I need to order up some USB to Ethernet adapters for latest (this year) Macbook Airs. I have tried some from Lenovo and Monoprice and while they will see Ethernet
once the OS loads they won't see it in the firmware point where you are when you hold down the OPTION key and see the network and are able to boot from it then!

The link above shows one with "MAC" in the description but I can't tell whether it's useful under firmware.

This is "probably" a moot point because I finally chatted with someone at Apple and found probably none of these would work at the Firmware level; but the Thunderbolt to Ethernet adapter should work
and Apple sells these for $29!
