I saw this advertised at ThinkGeek and I thought it was a made up April Fool's Day joke:



I can't imagine what purpose the tubes could have! Much funnier than an Apple Watch!

Really, Jon, you should do more research into the science of watches. The tubes are obviously parts of the oscillator! How do you think an electronic watch keeps such accurate time?! rolleyes.gif That "key" is just for looks, totally un-needed, although it might be a good place to store the 3-wire, polarized cord required to connect to AC power to keep the oscillator working... Thinking.gif
