Won't be me! And I'll have to find the Combo updater for 10.12.1 or 2 when they arrive!

Strangely, I was just at the Mac App Store prior to posting this and there was nothing in the "Updates" area except Safari and iBooks Author. I guess I just didn't pay attention to the App Store 'home' page... wallbash.gif

And the United States = The Banana system

Not me either. I'll wait and see what others think.

More importantly, what problems are discovered! Those 'bleeding edgers' always point out those little details! 😝

Not me. I'll wait at least until 10.12.2 is available.

Major Tom, a guy on our networking team, is hoping that something will be fixed in this so he's going to bite that bullet and install it on his little tower (one of those
black Mac Pro cylinders).  I'm not in the same boat so I'll wait until that blows over to see what the damage was!  Devilish2.gif

Here's a relevant book to read that applies equally well to upgrading software:  "How to Skydive" by Hugo First.  Devilish2.gif

I may update the MacBook Pro in the next few days. Want to check the Apple forums to see if any nasty surprises await though. Still busy with the new house, so not spending much time on the computer. tongue.gif

So...issues I'm seeing reported so far:

1. no ability to set minimum font size in Safari 10. (Mine isn't set, so that isn't likely to be an issue for me, but others may have trouble). You can zoom, but that makes EVERYTHING bigger, so in some cases the edge of the page disappears, requiring sideways scrolling. Not an acceptable substitute - what on earth was Apple thinking??

Other than that, it's mostly issues related to downloading Sierra/installing - the same sort of thing you tend to see with any update. So...when I find the time...

My 2009 MBP Pro has officially been declared "old". I checked to see about downloading Sierra from the App Store and was told that MacOS 10.12 could not be installed.

I think I want to install it just a little more now that I've found out it won't work on my Mac Pro 2008; I bet there is no real good reason for this that isn't generated by the Apple bean counters!

I see that iOS 10.0.1 and 10.0.2 have already been released.  whistling.gif

I'm still waiting for 10.2 or better. wink.gif
