How your info can come back to?
« on: June 03, 2018, 09:46:15 AM »
My wife and had made a (too short) trip several years ago to the beautiful Emerald Isle. Naturally, we bought a few items to ship back home. That meant we filled out some tax forms that gave us a break on some of the national taxes (I think we had to promise to return within 5 years).

So, it was with some surprise that I found an email from "REVENUE.IE" alerting me that I have a 469.11euro refund! I think that is ~110% of what we might have paid for all our purchases (not counting food, lodging and car rental)! WOW! Thanks to all our "friends" at REVENUE.IE!! I think we will just plan another trip and save the transfer fees! It's the least we can do! We'll be cruising on the Danube in another month, so we hop over to Dublin. I need to find an address for their office... it wasn't included in the email.

Wait! I just noticed that I have to reply within 24 hours of reading that email! Gotta go... :laughhard:

Oh, I'd leave it. After all it says if you don't claim them you'll get a bigger refund next year.
