Film maker debunks "fake moon landing" conspiracy

Moon Landings Faked?

Great to see a video from someone who carefully explains how the moon landings could not have been faked because the technology was not capable of doing it. The video was posted six years ago but I'm still convinced he's right :D

Loved one of the comments:

Stanley Kubrick directed the staging of the moon landing, but he was a perfectionist so they filmed on location.

Don't confuse conspiracy "theorists" with facts. Remember, it's impossible to prove a negative. :coolio:

Just watched an extremely well made movie about World War I. They used film from the Imperial War Museums archives. Although it took over three years, the Peter Jackson team was able to clean up the old film with tons of software and human work. They used professional lips readers to transcribe what some of the soldiers were saying and used actual WWI survivors to speak the words. They colorized some of the images magnificently! An amazing, time consuming  effort. Well worth viewing, if you can find it. My point is, there will be some who will try to foist the idea that this war was all a hoax; just look at the color images! "Everyone knows they didn't have color film cameras back then! But here is the movie!!!" :whoosh: "'They've' kept this a secret for over 100 years!!" :WOW: :laughhard:

Here's a link to an Atlantic review that has some sample vid.

We saw that programme in November - shown by the BBC (so no ads!) on Armistice Day (November 11) and the end of WW1. The old film, as you say, had been beautifully colorised and the speed had been corrected, which meant we focused on the content.

We found  it very, very moving.

I've found an article about Jackson's work from USA Today's "European Union experience" (sic) which is well worth a read.
Edit to add: Couldn't open the Atlantic link - just hope the USA Today works for you :)

Maybe some one here fixed it. It works fine from the US of A., as did your "useless today" link. :dntknw:
