The Cocktail devs reminded me of a setting in the Keyboard System Prefs that I have not tried. If you type a lot in iOS apps (in the old-fashioned method of typing punctuation and often spelling whole words), you may have noticed that typing two spaces in a row inserts a period AND a space. (A
period AND two spaces in a row was also common when computers were first offered as word/text processors.
)
A System Pref can enable this 'two-spaces-in-a-row' methodology on a Mac, I think even in
macOS 10.13 High Sierra but certainly in
Mojave macOS 10.14. Whether you use it or not is your choice, of course...
Do you know of some other (useful of not) behaviors that have been implanted in the macOS from iOS?
