Because of Apple's melding of iOS and macOS...
« on: May 06, 2019, 02:12:30 PM »
The Cocktail devs reminded me of a setting in the Keyboard System Prefs that I have not tried. If you type a lot in iOS apps (in the old-fashioned method of typing punctuation and often spelling whole words), you may have noticed that typing two spaces in a row inserts a period AND a space. (A period AND two spaces in a row was also common when computers were first offered as word/text processors. :wallbash: )

A System Pref can enable this 'two-spaces-in-a-row' methodology on a Mac, I think even in macOS 10.13 High Sierra but certainly in Mojave macOS 10.14. Whether you use it or not is your choice, of course... :dntknw:

Do you know of some other (useful of not) behaviors that have been implanted in the macOS from iOS?
THERE ARE TWO TYPES OF COUNTRIES
Those that use metric = #1 Measurement system
And the United States = The Banana system
