Ask to keep changes when closing documents.
That's usually the way I have things set up, also. It's simply a reminder to save your work. But I don't understand what that has to do with
save a text whith text edit ...not possible you don't have authorization
, which is a permissions or incorrect System file problem.
Question 1: Did you follow any of the instructions in the previous replies?
Question 2: Are you now able to Save a Text Edit (and every other app that creates a document) now?
I'm also confused as to what you are doing here:
Go to the app and unlock whith password
I assume you are talking about the apps "Get Info" window? Not sure about El Capitan, but Get Info windows should always show the "Locked" icon being in the locked condition. Even if you UN-lock it, make some change and close the window, the next time you open that same window, it should again show as locked. Can you please show us a screen shot of the Text Edit "Get Info" window? (
I think shift + command + 4 will display a small crosshair icon that you can drag diagonally across any window to capture an image of it)
Question 3: What, if anything, did you change when you had the Text Edit window unlocked?
Thanks.
