I upgraded a while back to Painter 8 and I have nothing but good things to say about it.
The interface has been totally changed. It's more like Photoshop's interface now and it's a
lot easier to work with! It's a lot more fun.
I have it running on the Beige G3 and the Quicksilver. It works well under 9.2.2 or OSX. I had to install 9.2.2 on a partition on the Beige unit to get it to install since I'm running OS9.1 , then I took 9.2.2 off and it works fine under 9.1. It just need to see 9.2.2 to install.
