My helpdesk insisted that i had to use a USB device headset, which I finally bought, out of frustration. In Sound I have highlighted the new device in input and output, but the sound is still coming out of my built-in speakers on my laptop.
It was working yesterday, but not today.
I am using Amazon Workspaces and ringcentral in the Chrome browser.
Would have been better if i could just have used the jack headphones, but there was an echo on it.
