Veterans' Day

These men, white, black, Asian, Latino, Native American
These men, Protestant, Catholic, Jew, Muslim
These men, rich, middle class, poor

These men, gave their last, best effort for Freedom
These men, lie together, with no prejudice in their status
These men, forever equal in their final repose

These men, expect their sons, their heirs to respect the dignity of their sacrifice
   
Or they have died in vain.

And the animals.  Never forget the animals too.

That's the same "men" as spoken of in the United States Constitution. They are not all "male".

Fortunately, our country no longer needs to demand our citizens serve. Please remember to honor those who volunteer.  May they will not have to exercise their right to a military burial because of a battle.
