While I try to become aware of anything new in any System Pref, I completely missed the added "Content Caching" option in the Sharing pref. It appears to have been added back in
macOS 10.13 High Sierra. It looks useful for folks with multiple Macs, especially for those with slow Internet access.
It
may work without a Mac that's on 24/7, but the concept
relies on a
