Using NS 7.01 on the 6400/G3/400 with 136 ram.

Can't search ebay, can't submit spam to SpamCop, can't order from OWC.

In Preferences>Advanced, enable Java is checked, as is XSLT.  In Preferences>Advanced>Script & Plugins, enable JavaScript is checked.

Am connected to a router, then to DSL modem.  In Preferences>Advanced>Proxies it is set to direct connection to the internet. (no proxy)

Don't know that this will help, but even with the latest version of Opera (6.02) and all the javascripting stuff enabled, I have to use IE for eBay, online banking, ordering from most places, etc.  sad.gif  It's no fun ... but I find that with Opera I can't complete the transactions, or they get lost! Yes, LOST! I'm betting it's the same issue, although I do not know WHY it happens.

Curiouser and curiouser...it appears to have something to do with cookies.

If I delete cookies, the search function works at ebay.  BUT I have to delete the cookies after each two or three pages/clicks. wacko.gif

I've deleted magic cookie, cookies.txt, cookperm.txt.

I'm wondering if this doesn't have something to do with the application "forgetting" where files are.  I've noticed applications no longer open into folders where they were last, i.e. ColorIT now opes the ColorIt folder on the OS partition rather than the last folder on the documents partition.

And it's no longer NS only, using IE I can't access indivivdual records at this site Type in a name like smith and then click one of the numbered buttons on the left.

Netscape7.02

I went to that site and typed in Smith and I got a bunch of listings.

Right now I can't figure out what's causing your problem.  huh.gif

Went there in IE 5.1.6 and Netscape 7.1 and had no trouble getting the files to open.

Defrag? Rebuild desktop?
