I need something for creating mailing address lables (Avery 5160-30 up). What might some of you use? I have Microsoft Word X and FileMaker Pro (OS9). Is there a Freeware program that might do labels simpler and quicker and reliably?

I use a shareware program called 'Address Book' and it works very well for me. Easy to use and lots of capabilities including selection of the Avery format you want to use to pint the label or address directly to an envelope.
Am running OS 9.1.4 on a G3.
IF I can find a link to it I will repost that.

There's also Palm Desktop... gives a wide selection of labels, formats, etc. and it's free.

Thanks for the replies. I may give Filemaker Pro a try (only in OS9, though). I hate to have to boot back into OS9 to print.

Csonni, Since you already have Word X, you already have an address label maker.

1. Open Word
2. Go to Menu Tools/Labels
3. From the Options button, select the Avery label 5160 (or whatever type) label you are interested in. You may also select font style, size, color, etc.
