when using slideshow with iPhoto my 17ins Studio display (3 three months old) screen flickers, any idea why?
G4 (mirrored doors) OS 10.2.6.

George, Just curious...that flicker problem, it only happens when in iPhoto Slide Show, e.g, not in other areas of iPhoto or in any other apps? Thinking.gif

You might try Repairing Permissions and running Disk Repair.

Harv, it only happens when using slideshow, will try what you suggest tomorrow........am off down the to the pub, got a choking thirst.

George, It's beginning to sound (to me) like an iPhoto problem rather than a display problem.

Are you using iPhoto v2.0?

Deleting your iPhoto preferences may be worth a try: Users/Library/Preferences/com.apple.iPhoto.plist

Also, if you have it, I suggest you run DiskWarrior.

Harv, ran DW....tested OK
have trashed what you suggested ie iPhoto.plist
been running iPhoto now for approx 15 mins no sign of flickering. Things are looking good clap.gif .
You might now turn your attention to my other problem.
