This article mentions that "rumor" but also adds credibility with other information.

The rest of the article is a really good promotion for Macs.

The same author wrote about the inherent inability of OSX to be hacked.

Good question, Gary.   wink.gif

However I am about to call it quits. I was supposed to paint the ceiling in my living room today but the paint I had unearthed from a few years ago was no good. So I scraped and primed outside to ready for exterior painting and am bushed.

I did want to post this link to an article by David Pogue also about the security of OSX.  (free membership in NYTimes online required)

So Gary, TS is all yours.   sleep1.gif

Funny old thing the net.... when Krissel and Gary said goodnight it was 7.09 and 7.29am UK time respectively - and we had just got up on Sunday morning.... Hope you both slept well.

Oh and painting - we're trying to get the right shade of paint to go with the deep blue tiles that will be going in our kitchen. When we can get the tiler to fit us in....   rolleyes.gif

If you find an article you want to post from the NYT, select the option to "email" it, and send it to yourself.  The email will arrive with a link that allows anyone to read the article.  You can then post that link here and people can read without going through the registration.

A little extra work on your part, but gives access to those that object to this type of registration.

Thanks for the tip.  smile.gif

And Gary, I slept only fair. Some one nearby needed to use their chain saw early in the morning.

My neighbors are usually very considerate of Sunday mornings and put off yardwork til later but I guess he couldn't wait. Or maybe he and his wife had the ultimate argument.
