Apple just has to update the PowerBooks. Especially the 15" model.

Guess we'll see in an hour! smile.gif

Regarding the wireless keyboards... I saw somewhere that while the keyboard has full capability, this is no longer the case once one has booted into single user mode, target disk mode, verbose mode, etc. At that point one must then connect via a wired keyboard.

Does anyone have more (or correct) detail on this?

More drooling. And those price drops sure are nice...throw in 512MB more RAM on the top-end model and it's still about $600 LESS than I spent just over a year ago on my 15" 800MHz model. Faster, better, cooler...Sigh. T'was ever thus...

I guess Apple is never going to produce a mouse with a scroll wheel...buttons I can live without if need be, but lack of a scroll wheel drives me crazy.

While the new PowerBooks are nice, I am really disappointed by the Keyboard and Mouse.

Still the same design and still no scroll-whell on the mouse. Multiple buttons might be a question of personal preference, but the scroll-wheel is just one of the most comfortable ways to read/navigate text. And since Apple is claming to be the inventor of the ease-of-use I think it's inappropriate not to have a scroll-wheel.

Price is right.
Speed bump and case is what was expected.
Lots of added features plus ports.
Like the idea of the ports being on the side. Yet can live with them being in the back.
Little nicknacks like the current draw appears the same. Thus the same adaptors from the previous can be used.
