kps,

As you migth have seen in the news Toronto Maple Leafs are playing some practice games in Sweden. Of course Börje Salming released the puck (symbolic) and of course Ben and I are prepared. Guess what team we are cheering for?

Report: Leafs won over Djurgården with 9-2

Tomorrow a new game.... hopefully against a better team. Cuz if Domi gets the chance to score, then it's a crappy team.  laugh.gif

The Leafs...suck. There, I said it. wink.gif  Thirty years and no "cup"... every year all their fans hope and say "this'll be the year" and each playoff they choke.  wallbash.gif

...and now I read that the Mapleleaf Gardens may become a Home Depot or a supermarket...aaaargggg!!!! Old Harold would turn over in his grave.

Anyways, read a little about it in the papers, but didn't follow too much of the pre-season stuff.

Okay, now on a lighter note... biggrin.gif

Me and the girlfriend went to Niagara last weekend. On the way there we drove through Port Colbourne. <grin>  Stayed at the new Embassy Suites next door to where you and Ben stayed.

Took this from the room at night:

That bright spot in the sky, is not the moon or any other celestial body...it's a flip'n baloon.

Hey, someone was inspired I think from a certain Swedish friend *grins*  whistling.gif

Gorgeous pictures, looks like you had a better view, higher up and clearer weather.

Cool balloon pictures.

We planned this weekend for a while, my girlfriend wanted to go to Niagara-on-the-Lake...to visit the Christmas Store and some other places. I combined this trip with a video record of my company's night operations at the Hamilton Airport.

After the video shoot we spent the night at a motel near there, the next day we drove cross-country to Niagara. Spent the day and night there and proceeded to Niagara-On-The-Lake.

The Embassy Suites is a very nice hotel, we chose the premium "falls view" suite...with the jacuzzi and a view from the 28th floor or above. Well worth the extra money and it was still cheaper that the Marriot or the Sheraton by about $50.

Anyway, here's a shot in daylight.
