Solitaire and Pinball
« on: September 28, 2003, 05:50:56 PM »
Does anyone know of where to find these games to be used on the Lombard 333 MHz?

The ex is very picky about what he's looking for...  dry.gif

He doesn't care for the Burning Monkeys suite of solitaire games... if anyone's familiar with Windows he's "suffering conversion miss thems"... he likes just the standard solitaire, no free cell, pyramid yada yada. And the pinball game that came with the Plus set of Desktop Themes etc.

Anyway nothing fancy, standard pinball table etc.

 thanx.gif

Oh... guess I should specify, OS9.1...

smile.gif Hi Dreambird,

I just thought I would stop by to say Hello. I don't know if this helps but I thought I saw something called Mac Solitaire and Eric's Solitaire Sampler. I do believe they were on a CD Bernie sent to me called Kitchen Sink.

Please let me know if you need more information.

'Bye for now and so good to have you back, I've missed you.

MacSolitaire is a MacOS X program for Klondike solitaire (what I believe DB is looking for). There are many others available at none other than www.versiontracker.com

As for the pinball game, I'm not sure which one you mean. The best pinball games maker is Littlewing (www.littlewing.co.jp).

Full Tilt Pinball is pretty good.  It can be found on the Mac Action Games Pack.

Hoyle Solitaire is another good one, but as Mike stated, there might be a free solitaire game that will do on versiontracker.

Thanks Myrna and GM... Klondike is close, but not quite the same... to be honest I don't know "what" name the Windows one goes by, it comes with the OS. I had one like it for a short time when I switched to Mac myself but can't remember the name of it for the life of me now... wallbash.gif

Thanks for the pinball link... I'll have a look around there for something similar.

Versiontracker is getting hard for me to access, I can understand that it doesn't work with my old Netscape, but it's hit and miss with Opera too...   doh.gif

Hey Al thanks... you posted while I was... where does one find the Action Pack you mention?

Mac OS X or 9?

Eric's Ultimate Solitaire has many solitaire games, has a version for both X and 9

FreeCell and other games I know is available for OS X, not sure about 9 though.

Pinball games from LittleWing is just outstanding. Versions for both X and 9 as well.

It's OS9.1 Petra...  smile.gif

I found the perfect solitaire game here: MacSolitaire and the price couldn't be better... Free!!!

It plays virtually just like the Windows one...  clap.gif Heck, for the price I've decided to keep it for myself too...  biggrin.gif

Will check into the pinball further... thanks everyone for the suggestions...

Is Crystal Caliburn Pinball from LittleWing? Whoever wrote it has another one or two as well. I only own CC.
Ya gotta applaud those bunnies for sacrificing their hearing just so some guy in Cupertino can have better TV reception.

Yep! LittleWing makes the best pinball games! Some of the old ones they've now ported for Mac OS X too...  wub.gif
