The Bucs get handed their derriere
« on: October 07, 2003, 11:38:21 AM »
Good game, good win!

Isn’t it ironic that the guy who taught them how to win is teaching them how to loose? For years I watch the Bucs play, and for years I would let the first two quarters go by because the Bucs didn’t start until the second half. It was a Coach Dungy trick, wear um out, then take um out. Looks like they forgot where they came from?

On the physical side they have too many injuries already, and some are very serious.

I agree, Indy just wore TB out at the end.  TB's secondary seriously slowed down by the fourth quarter, Brian Kelly's injury really hurt.

Boy, was I shocked to hear that this morning. I turned it off early. I was quite upset to hear what happened to the Bucs.  Devilish2.gif

Don't even talk to me about injuries so far this year. We've lost 3 all-pro defensive backs, a defensive tackle, 3 defensive ends--including a starter, a first round pick, and a 4th round pick who was expected to contribute.

This is gonna be a strange season.

The Bucs are picking up free agents this week, as of last night there were 7 injured.

The Refs are in strange mode as well, what’s up with them? Even a blind man could see that last call was wrong, not even close.  wacko.gif

I agree completely about the last call. I was shocked when I saw the replay the next morning. Like the infamous "tuck rule" I hate when something like that decides a game. Somehow there's got to be room for common sense. By the way, I was sorry to hear about Mike Alscott's injury. I always like watching him play. Reminded me of football when I was a kid. I always hate to hear the words "neck injury". I haven't heard any details, but hope it's not career threatening or worse.
