The only CD I have with an OS is 8.0 I do have my download to 9.1 on a SyQuest - - - I will take a look a little later on. Yes, the kan.org has been most helpful. I am forever keeping my eye open for mem. simms - I haven't opened it up lately but I believe I have only two slots on the motherboard - I currently have 2-32mb sticks plus the built-in 8mb.
I bought a 7100 motherboard on ebay a few weeks ago for $2 and dropped it in my first mac (Performa 600) and proceeding with outfitting it with a lot of my old nubus parts and 4.5 HdD. In addition to the one PDS slot, it has 4 ram slots. I managed to boost it up to 104mb with what I had laying around.
