to all of my well wishers!
The doctor spoke with me briefly after my surgery.
Due to the very specific nature of the court order, he performed only the specified surgery. However, while taking a visual tour during the operation, he was less than enthusiastic about my chances for a complete recovery. Because of the protracted court battle and my subsequent shift in priorities when I was diagnosed with Cancer, the condition of my my hand got progressively worse. Subsequently, he is writing an opinion to my attorney to request further more involved surgery/surgeries. To all of you who have followed my posts, this more than likely means another court battle, in order to obtain the necessary authorization.
I am not looking forward to going back into the courtroom. I do believe that armed with this current medical evidence, I stand a 50/50 chance of winning my case, before this particular judge.
I remain ever hopeful that I will someday be able to play my beloved Classical music, albeit probably modified versions.
I have been resting or sleeping and wakened just in time to go to Christmas Eve Mass and sing with my choir. I have been practicing since September for our Christmas performance and I wasn't about to miss this. I wasn't feeling too well, but I take my ministry very seriously. I would have felt worse staying at home. I am very happy that I went.
(I think I am getting proficient with my right hand, keying in this message.)
'Bye for now,
Myrna
