On Jan First, this thread began
As we all lined up, our Bern to praise,
Only to find, Ooops, more days required,
A gala celebration had misfired!
Most surely, all knew, who to blame
For such a state of pure confusion,
There was no mystery, no delusion
‘Twas Bern, alone, without collusion.
But, Hooray! it’s now been straightened out,
So, please - - in unison - - all rise to shout
“Happy Birthday, Bern”, is surely, rightly due
