The eMac is a great machine, I have one, but many do have some monitor problems, mines always crooked, even after gemoetry adjustment, and sometimes becomes discolored along the left side.

Besides that it runs X.2 great

Since that is a refurbished unit, it may have had the screen problem fix. Hard to tell for sure and I would encourage purchasing Apple Care with it, just in case!     Other than that, these seem to be fine home machines. This also may be last years model, though I don't know what real changes were made this year, anyway!
