What  am I supposed to do with 'rescued items from HD?' I know it's tempting....straight answer, please.

It is an attempt to make you think the computer is smarter than you! Like it knows these files shouldn't be lost.    

And then, a program crashes and you get this: "xxx program has unexpectedly quit."     As if there was a crash that is expected?    Just proves, even a Mac is not as smart as you! Maybe faster, but not smarter!
