WoW Dick! With that kind of law around here the State would clean up. All the various departments would be competing for the bridges. Although the speed is set @ 55 MPH most travel them @ 70- in the fast lane it’s 80, even in rush hour. Judging by the fancy machinery around these parts the value of the tickets would be substantial.
Now they pass out some hefty tickets in school and hospital zones but nothing like $125,000 fines. 15 mph over the speed limit can be written up as reckless driving or driving as to endanger which are criminal penalties, but aren’t usually applied unless ones a habitual offender. When revenue is low they announce speed traps on the TV and Radio, letting anyone listening know where their setting up. I like their system better, of course having a 140 mph Harley would make it a “catch me if you can” party! Those Caddies you have sould be able to give um a run for (your) money.
