Windows when it works is "different" than the Mac experience, but not as awful/horrible as some Mac enthusists say.
However, when (and yes it WILL happen) things go wrong it's like Alice falling down the rabbit hole. Forget about intuitive interfaces and repairs. It's a strange world of IRQs, DLLs, and 8 charcter files that have names that have no "logic" to them.
I'm struggling with some PeeCee problems and have "seen the darkness" and it's scary. You can whack your system by deleting a small file or two, (or make the wrong choice with a seemingly innocent installer) with no way back!
Of course I'm about to embark in the qwazy world of X, so maybe things will be even.
