Question for LR827
« on: April 29, 2003, 04:03:00 AM »
Hey, LR827, your icon is amazing! (the Brazil head). I want it! Not for here, but for my instant messenging. Where can I get it as a document or Adobe Image File (like icons) so I can copy it out of its info pane and paste it into my Instant Messenger?  Is there a way to convert image files so that they're like icons? (this would be great, cause then I could do it with anything)

If you need my e-mail address to send it to me, I'll give it to you. I'd really appreciate it if I could rip your image. Thanks.

I'm glad you like it, Andy, and I wish I could take credit for it, but it belongs to TS.  If you go to the "Profile" section, you get a choice of "avatars" to upload along side your Displayed Name.  There are pages & pages of them!  I just chose one that seemed to tell the world how artificial I really am.

The administrators of TS can give you permission or not -- but it is very easy to download an image and then save it, and use it just like you would use any clip art.  Click-&-hold with your Mac mouse, or right-click with your PC mouse, and you will get the option to download the image.

Good luck!

Thanks for the information, Lorraine.
I hadn't checked out the Profile page for a long time & missed the Avatars.....

....so this post is just a test to see how it looks.

Andrew, those avatar pics are pretty generic. They are used on many BB's and I doubt there is any copyright attached to them. If so, they would belong to UBB and not to TS, anyway.

Just drag and drop to your desktop.
