Biggest reason I can think of is updated Flash support. If it's a Flash 7 card and they've got flash support for v6... well...

That's not much clearer. You mean from teh installation of Quicktime in each OS?

Each OS needs all the Quicktime components. And they should all be located in the System folders for each OS. As far as what's installed in Application folders... you can safely remove the "sample" files from allteh installs.

I installed 10.3.2 and the Java3D update on a Sawtooth G4 and a MDD G4, everything is great.

Belkin Busstation. Works wonderfully and is fully adaptable toyoru needs, even as the grow. Not just USB either.

 Guess you figured out that the _MAC OSX folder is a direct result of using Panther to compress a file and not using Panther to uncompress it. Silly of Apple to damage something like that. Why even bother including it.


Anyway.. OS10.2.8 on a MDD Dual 867 and your application ran fine GM.

It means they do no testing and don't intend Panther to work with upgrade cards. It doesn't mean it won't work. But if it doesn't you shouldn't expect Apple to fix it. Basically.. Apple wants you to buy a G5.

Actually they're a lot uglier than OS 9 labels were. LabelsX from Unsanity is closer to OS9 functionality.
