Weve got 3 Macs, 2 of them(the newer ones have Tiger 10.4.10 on them, and both have Safari v2.0.4), but this one only has 10.3.9 and its the one that I tried to install the Safari 3.0.2 on.  This one has Safari 1.3.2, so now I understand, I didnt realize that it was a beta.  So since this one works fine, I shall leave it as is.
I do have a Tiger disk so at some point I will install that here on this Mac.  Reason I left 10.3.9 on this one is that some of my software on it is not Tiger ready, and I use this Mac mostly for communications.
Thanks for making me think, I now realize that this upgrade would not work on this one anyway.

The OS required to install the Safari 3.0.xx beta is Mac OS X v10.4.9 or later.

I think that all the software that I have that wouldnt run on Tiger is now updated, it was Bryce 6 that I was most concerned about and KPT and some old versions of plug ins and filters.  But I think Ive got them all, oh, I just remembered one, its one of the old KPT filters and Xenofex that I use with an older version of Photohop.  I was just thinking of installing Tiger on this one, when I remembered these, and a couple of plugins that I use with OS 9.2.2 on this Mac.  Looking thru my filters and Plug ins at the moment, I realize that there is quite a bit of stuff.  So I better not Tigerize this one yet.
I am glad you mentioned this, as I do have some wonderful filters here on this one.
