Off any topic: I just got through watching the first season of an English detective series called "Vera" which is set in Northumberland. In the opening credits there is a glimpse of what I believe is a large outdoor sculpture that kind of looks like the body of the U.S. "Oscar" awards upright with a mono-wing across it's body. Don't know how to better describe it but I believe I've seen it somewhere before and wanted more information about it.
I got nothing more but it's kind of making me crazy!
sounds like Anthony Gormley's Angel of the North. Bet you watch that show with subtitles
