At least you have a doctor who is not about to dismiss you and is willing to "speak up" for your well being. But DB is right, take some time to enjoy the holidays, relax and get rest.

from my own experience, sucessful surgery and family support go a long way.

at the moment I am a pain in the neck to my dear wife and all I'm suffering from is a lousy cold!
