Chris , I also have a Kensington 5 button optical USB  that works really well. I use it with my PB in X and 9. It also works on my 9600. Has a good feel, too.

Bought it at CompUSA.

Yeah, the Kensington looked nice, but was a bit pricey for me....

Chris, Logitech make optical mice too - seem to work pretty well and have drivers for OS 9 and X. I have more or less stopped using my cordless Logitech because it eats batteries, but when I do use it, it works well. Also like my Kensington Pocket Pro - those go on sale occasionally. Saw one recently for $19.99 in a CompUSA ad. All sold out when I got there though.
