Paddy, my Mom's Lombard has 10.3.9 on it and it's OK for running email, browsers, text apps, etc. Her's is only a 333 Mhz and has only 256 ram so it is on the edge of official support. Of course Mom isn't looking for a high speed experience.

Addendum:

In addition to 10.3.9 on my two 'main' Mac-hines, I am running 8.6 on a Beige 266 desktop and Win2K on an old Dell.

Heh.

I never in my life "went back" to XP........biggrin.gif

Just am still forced to use it in certain applications of school work.

If I could've found a COBOL compiler for Ubuntu, I wouldn't use XP at all.

Partition stays there just for when I absolutely have to use it.

Take care, sandy.
