Another interesting poll might be "What OS are you using?" I use OS 9.2.2 & Panther on desktop & Tiger on laptop.
Well I'm curious enough to ask ... so what does keep your *mac* running?

How come this isn't a real poll? dntknw.gif

pre-9
9.x
10.1
10.2
10.3
10.4
10.5...

Never mind, when you ( I ) commdn-click on the little "Go to the first Unread Post" button, it doesn't show the actual poll listing. wallbash.gif All I saw was people writing about what they used/had...

eMac 1.25 GHz with 10.3.9, but have seriously considered upgrading in the next two weeks. Several programs I want to try require 10.4.
Ignore the argumentative nature of this poster. He is old and can't engage in meaningful dialog very long.
Therefore, management asks that you at least humor him. Thanks.

I'd still be using 8.1 if I had'nt  gotten an OS9.1 disc for a very good price. Right now, I don't see any reason to switch to X. If my hardware fails, I'll do it then... But, I've already replaced the hard drive. It would have to be some of the other "innards" going bad to push me into this century.
Ya gotta applaud those bunnies for sacrificing their hearing just so some guy in Cupertino can have better TV reception.

Harv, how does the Lombard do with Panther? It's the only machine we have left that isn't running X, though nobody uses it most of the time!

Sneakers is going to install Ubuntu on his Walgreen's special computer - as soon as Paul finishes whatever he's doing with it. It's a project they cooked up and I stay out of it. tongue.gif
