Was at my folks' yesterday watching the game of course (NY Giants are my Mom's favorite). Was a really good game. That amazing eluding by Manning and the subsequent miracle catch by Tyree was unbelievable. Both teams were pretty equal in ability but that one play made the difference.
Although you and Paddy have established that The Game was not the cause of our sluggishness (and it refused to load "Community" the first time again just now) logic would tell you that if this was the second most watched TV broadcast in our history, there weren't a bunch of folks online at the time.
That catch was incredible. I thought the ball was going to pop out while he was still bringing it in, so to speak. And then I was
sure it was going to pop out as he got bent over backwards and was about to hit the ground. I think the defensive player being underneath him prevented that, and permitted him to hang on to the ball
WITH HIS HELMUT!!!!! Amazing!
