Perhaps a slightly stoopid question:
Being aware that most new Apple's have been supplied with machine-specific OS Install disks for a long while now... A while back I got a Tiger 10.4 "PowerMac G4" install disk from a seller on eBay. I determined that the disk was not original, and frankly, I don't know whether it's actually G4 specific or someone messed with the graphics to make it look real. I didn't pay a lot for it, so I informed the seller and let it go at that. It installed 10.4 on my G4 DA no problem.
Any chance that this might install on a G5? Or is there a significant difference in the G5 architecture that it won't install? Never worked with a G5, so I dunno...
TIA,
Chris K
