X-Men 2 Trailer

I saw the trailer yesterday and it sure looked good.
My problem is, i loved the trailers for the first movie but... found the movie wasn't much good... sorry to say to you
Sooo... i'm kinda doubting, will this movie really be as good? or will it be the same as the first one?

Kelly, also wanted to post a link yesterday, but TS was waaaaaay slow here.
But, it seems they are working on Deus Ex 2
I found it on Inside Mac Games but you will have to search for it, hehehe

Sorry you didn't like the first one M_B.

I found it had the same Intelligence as Bryan Singer's earlier movie The Usual Suspects.

Yeah, I saw that about DX2. I'm looking forawrd to it.

Woooaaaa, "The Usual Suspects" was one awesome movie, i really loved that one (gosh, and i do like to see Kevin Spacey).
Sooo... since we both share opposite feelings about X-Men 1 i'm not really sure how you feel it was in the same line with Usual Suspects
But ok
It's just, i feel X-Men could have been nice if they did less talk and more action... after all, X-Men is just a commercial movie, nothing special (like say "Usual Suspects which had much more dept).
Maybe they will make up for that on X-Men 2

M_B. How could we possibly disagree on matters of taste?

Well, we just can.

However. After having read X-Men and other comic books for over 25 years, I say,

the characterization of Professor Xavier was near perfect.

Patrick Stewart was born to play him, and did it very well.

Ian McKellen was great as Magneto.

Hugh Jackman was a perfect Wolverine.

Etc. The casting was brilliant. The story wasn't bad.

The fight scenes were really well done. As were the special effects.

I just thought it was all very well done.

I didn't expect much of it and I was very pleasantly surprised.

I didn't mind the talk.

Maybe if you'd been reading about these characters since the mid 1960s

you would have enjoyed the talking a little more.

Especially compared to how bad most comics to movies are.

A few exceptions. The first Superman movie. The first Batman.

I've heard the new Daredevil isn't too bad. I'll wait for it to show up on TV.

You don't have to like what I like. And vice versa.

You know with some of the comic characters just now coming out [spiderman, daredevil, hulk soon],I've got a feeling that this very well could be a 'goldmind' for all the rest of the players.
Why not!?!
Startrek,Starwars both made it.

Can you see down-the-road a movie were Spiderman and Daredevil join forces to catch a real big bad guy? I can. Or the Hulk goes nutso and one of the other heros [or many] jump on the hulks back too stop the brute. I can.

And that's just the three guys with white-hats out now!

What about some of the other guys in the long underwear?
CaptainMarvel and his side kick Rick Jones. With CM alone you could bring in all sorts of semi good guys and some very nasty bad guys, like that guy from Saturn [or somewhere] Thanos. Now he was one ugly dude who had a lot of powers! Wasn't it Thanos who grabbed the all-powerful cube and became one with the universe?
Then there's that silent maskman who was created to stop Thanos called the destroyer!
What about Warlord [or was it Warlock]. He in himself had a bunch of cool adventures.
Fact they all did actually.

Yeah I could see some folks pooling together to make all sorts of movies/sequels that would blow StarWars out as far as $$$ goes let alone they could go on for years.

Well, i didn't thought X-Men was that bad, but as you were surprised how it turned out, i think my expectations were to high.
Must say, i never read the comics so i don't know about the characters.
As far as i know, all of them played their roll very well and euhm... i like to see Patrick Sterwart perform anyway (wasn't he great in Start Trek First Contact).
And yup, i do have to agree on the fact that the FX's were awesome in the movie (as the next new one will be to i think).

Guess what, i actually heard of rumours that Spiderman and Superman might join forces in a movie.
that's been months since i heard it, and never heard anything since than, but who knows

As far as the Hulk... i'm not really looking out for it (i still remember the tv shows, hahaha).
Well, i don't think much of the trailer and i'm not really thinking it will score like Spiderman did.

I taped it but must of set the timer wrong because I only got the last hour on tape.
Just got around to watching it. Wasn't bad.

You might want to rent it Bill. Since you're rained in anyway.

Been thinking about that Kelly.
I've got to run to the store anyways (when ever the rain takes a break that is) for real food eats and the rental is in the same building.

I picked up the x men tape.
Being that it wasn't a recently (new) released tape,it only cost $1 to rent.

Mondays around these here parts is the $1 day for whatever tape.

Gotta remember about the other days being a $1 for older tapes. <gr>

A little to much on the editing side yet still not bad.
