Hi there people,

I couldn't help but posting this simple, but really amazing screensaver.
The screensaver is to be found at the Apple site and is about raindrops.
Some of you probably know it but i just had to tell the others wink.gif

Amazingly well done.

Isn't it dangerous to have water that close to electrical equipment! eek2.gif I'm surprised that Apple Legal would allow this! I may consider a 'classless' action suit! tease.gif

It's not to bad... just make sure your mac is either standing on the kitchen sink or that you have a cloth underneith it.

But it's so neat smile.gif
I never used screensavers, but for this one, i activated it and have it set on 3 minutes... just to be able to watch it (without going to the prefs all the time).

That's neat.

I think I'm going to slip it onto my Dad's computer and see how he reacts when it comes on.

Had one called "Saw"

Sound effect was like a Skil Saw (circular saw)

The "cut" moved across the screen, then a section of the screen "fell" with great effect - crashing glass sound

Eventually, the whole screen was "cut up" and shattered. Well done!

FYI, all screensavers allow specifying a 'hot corner' so that when the mouse cursor is moved into that corner, the screensaver activates, no matter how much time has passed.

I made a short movie of this screensaver in action:

FYI, I used the movie feature of my Canon digital still cam [easy as pi - throw one switch on the camera, connect w/ cable to Mac, automatically detected, imported, and movie appears in iPhoto just like stills].

I think it can do up to about 3.5 minutes of video w/ the 512 MB CF card I installed [orig card was 32MB].

PS - the screensaver can adjust the apparent depth of the water and the frequency of 'raindrops'

Wooow... glad you people like it as much as i do smile.gif
Smiley never saw the screensaver so she was like  ohmy.gif when she got to see the screensaver (and i didn't say her anything).
So than i asked what i did to it but... offcourse she pretty fast new it is a screensaver, she loves it though.
