Our daughter-in-law just phoned to check-up on the Olde Folks. It is really boiling on the SF Peninsula this afternoon (are you keeping notes, Kimmer? - I hesitate even to guess the temp in Vacaville right now). Over a 100 in Petaluma!

Petaluma's temp has me gasping! Good grief! Y'all are baking!!!!!!

Vacaville hit 112 yesterday. Their low was 79.6! sad.gif Supposed to be the same high today. They are under a heat advisory. Yucko. This is one of the biggest reasons we retired to cooler weather.

We have fog today, currently 58, if the fog burns off we might reach the 70's. We have bazillion tourists around, all cooling off. Hwy. 1 was a solid string of cars yesterday, as were the roads into the coast. Inland from here it's in the 100's all over the place and everyone is hurting because most don't have a/c.

Those of you in the heat, stay as cool as you can, relax, read a good book, sit in the kiddy pool, hose yourself off, or follow Janes advice -- a water fight would be great. biggrin.gif

Oh and Kris ... nice pic and pretty feet. smile.gif

sweatingbullets.gif Was 111 Yesterday here in El Cajon, down town EC was 114. Plus humidity which we normally don't have. Do my outside work early morning or evening if it cools down. The rest of the time is spent indoors with the cats and dog. We don't turn on the AC until the house hits goes over 80. Last week the temps were mid 90s to low 100s and the house was sealed up. Windows and doors were taped and covered with plastic. Wasn't that fun. Felt sorry for the guys doing the painting. At least we could provide cold drinks. sweatingbullets.gif
