While I entirely understand; I feel like something is missing in that banner; not just frankfurters!  Is it a secret about who does the banners?  Thanks for mine whoever; I printed it and saved it as a desktop picture!

Banners are made by various members. Anyone can submit a banner with 150x700 pixels and preferably not much more than 50K for the benefit of those who are still on dialup. Of course we retain the right to decide if it is suitable and to modify or edit the banner or request the author do so. Sometimes the banner creator wishes to remain anonymous so we don't say who did it unless they say OK or 'admit' to it on the forum.

As to something missing in your Bday banner, perhaps I should have put a small image of you in the red slippers, maybe in a lion outfit? or tinman? scarecrow?

"I want your ruby slippers and your little dog too!"  People in Kansas are used to people thinking we're all in Black and White here!   smile.gif  Actually I was "very" pleased with my personal banner; it was the one that replaced it that was like a default OS X desktop picture that didn't do to much for me.  The first thing I always do is replace the default; it's kind of bland!  I also like the flower one that's up right now quite a bit and the Kimmer and Lorraine one was great!

That reminds me of the first time I saw the "Wizard of Oz" on a color TV. Of course I had seen the film many times previously but we only had black and white TVs until the early 70's. I always thought the whole movie was black and white and just imagined the 'yellow brick road', 'emerald city' and 'horse of a different color', etc.  Then I happened to watch it on a color set and nearly fell out of my chair when Dorothy opened the door of the crashed house to a full color scene.

That flower banner up now is just beautiful!  Tis fun to watch the banners, some very very clever and pretty ones.  We are a talented group, indeed.

I have loved all of the banners, but I especially like the flower one that is up now.

So much talent on this board. eusa_dance.gif
