Found these in various places:

Windows Vista beta tester Steve B. was having trouble getting Internet Explorer 7 beta to work with Vista's Outlook Web Access, so he contacted the Vista support team for help.

Their solution? "Use Firefox or Opera instead. "

As an OWA user, I fully understand the frustration you have experienced," the techie wrote back.

delivering babies, shocking cardiac arrest victims, and using the 'jaws

Someone a M$oft just accidentally released the Canadian prices for Vista and then immediately took them down:

Vista Ultimate: $499
Vista Business: $379
Vista Home Premium: $299
Vista Home Basic: $259

I don't know how different US prices are but it would be more interesting to see how the different versions stack up in terms of lack of usability!   biggrin.gif

According to Wikipedia, the US pricing is as follows:

Ultimate $399.00
Business $299.00
Home Premium $239.00
Home Basic $199.00

Vista Home Premium Upgrade: $159

Well, apparently M$ will be pushing the Premium and Ultimate versions over the Basic version - no surprise there. It's all marketing hype as far as I'm concerned. Why they even bother with the crippleware "home" versions of the OS is beyond me.

I'm glad that Apple has seen fit to keep things simple; desktop and server versions and that's it. All the whistles and bells, one package. Keep it that way, Apple!!!

Those EU Fines might have something to do with it?
Now they might just be globalizing the stripped down version also, so they can have more money out of? dntknw.gif

Didn't know you can even find THAT on Wikipedia? ohmy.gif

Maybe they'll be less dysfunctional than the other versions; well probably not!   smile.gif
