Ah... No such luck, my dear.  By then a "senior discounted ticket" will cost a fortune, too!

By the way, talking about movies & seniors -- My hubby and I went to see "Hollywoodland" at the theatre.  (Okay, I dragged him there -- I am such a Superman fan!)  The funny thing was, there was NOBODY UNDER MIDDLE AGE in the audience!!  Honestly, we couldn't identify a single couple that looked younger than 50's or so!!

I guess it really appealed to those of us who remember racing home to see "The Adventures of Superman" on television in the '50's.  

Look! Up in the sky!...

No one younger than that would have a clue about who it was that starred in the B&W Superman of the 1950's/60's!  I really only remember from the rerun episodes they used to play after school!  



George Reeves was not this buff!

I just ordered the first 2 seasons of the 1950's "Adventures of Superman" on my online rental acct. Please, if anyone has NOT seen these originals, please rent them, before you see Hollywoodland!  

Half the audience was crying, but you wouldn't understand why if you had not seen the originals.  No way to explain it -- Just rent these DVD's if you can first!
